Program Description
This program prepares the student to meet the growing demand for skills and talent in the telecommunications sector. This is done by providing the student with competencies in infrastructure or access solutions in a Cisco end-to-end environment. CCIP professionals have a detailed understanding of the diverse technologies in the telecommunications arena including IP routing, IP multicast, cable, DSL, content networking or IP telephony

Prerequisites
Must have obtained Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)TM certification prior to beginning this course of study. CCIP Series: Implementing Cisco MPLS (MPLS)

This Cisco course is designed to introduce the student to MPLS concepts, installation, migration, operation, inspection, and troubleshooting. The MPLS fundamentals covered in this class will provide the theory and hands-on knowledge to implement, integrate, and deploy an MPLS infrastructure. The MPLS VPN lecture and labs will cover the models, diversity, implementation, troubleshooting, and flexibility of MPLS VPNs. This course will prepare the student for the MPLS exam with the knowledge and skills necessary to gather information from the technology basics to some of the more updated features and functions such as Traffic Engineering and Fast Reroute.

CCIP Series:Configuring BGP on Cisco Routers (BGP)

In this comprehensive Cisco course, the student will gain an in-depth knowledge of BGP, the routing protocol that is one of the underlying foundations of the Internet. This class covers the theory of BGP, configuration of BGP on Cisco IOS routers, detailed troubleshooting information and hands-on exercises that provide students with the skills needed to configure and troubleshoot BGP networks in customer environments. Different service solutions in the curriculum cover BGP network design issues and usage rules for various BGP features preparing students to design and implement efficient, optimal and trouble free BGP networks.
