Program Description
As technology moves to a wireless environment, qualified professionals are needed to adapt existing hardwired networks to wireless networks. This course is designed to give students an understanding of wireless technology and to become qualified in this growing area.

CCNA Wireless :Implementing Cisco Unified Wireless Networking Essentials

With a Cisco Certified Network Associate Wireless (CCNA Wireless) certification, network professionals can configure, monitor and troubleshoot the basic tasks of a Cisco WLAN in SMB and Enterprise networks. This course is designed to help you prepare for the CCNA Wireless certification. CCNA Wireless recognizes the critical importance of professionals supporting wireless LANS including Networking Associates/Administrators, Wireless Support Specialists and WLAN project managers.

Cisco Advanced Wireless LAN Field Specialist

As organizations adopt wireless LAN technology in order to extend employee access to critical network resources, they require qualified professionals who can design, install, support, and operate a wireless LAN solution This advanced level course consists of technical lectures and lab exercises covering the Advanced Wireless LAN Field Specialist. It is designed to be a foundation to prepare for the Cisco 642-587 AWLANFE exam. This class will have a strong emphasis on Hands-on Labs to reinforce lecture concepts.

Cisco Wireless Security

In this hands-on course, the student will learn to lessen WLAN attacks, explore computer hacking, Cisco SAFE software, basic security configuration, and 802.11 security risks. Also, you'll learn to use a wireless sniffer, capture packets, analyze WLAN traffic, explore authentication and association processes, and perform deployment exercises. You will be introduced to Cisco ACS RADIUS, ACU for LEAP, PEAP, and EAP-FAST.
