This four-semester program, taught through our Cisco Networking Local Academies, covers the principles behind Cisco networking in addition to practicing the design, implementation, and maintaining networks capable of supporting national and global organizations. WHAT IS CISCO ACADEMY? The Cisco Networking Academy Program uses an e-learning model delivering Web-based educational content, online testing, student performance tracking, hands-on labs, instructor training, and support to students who are preparing to become the networking professionals of tomorrow. The Cisco Networking Academy curriculum is developed by experts in both the education and networking realms. Teaching basic to advanced Internet technology skills, the Cisco Networking Academy Program prepares students for industry-standard certifications including Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA) and Cisco Certified Networking Professional (CCNP).
CCC & CISCO NETWORKING ACADEMY CCC began its partnership with Cisco Systems in 1999 by offering Cisco Networking Academy classes as Local Academies. Since its inception, CCC has earned a reputation for offering high-quality training. Having successfully implemented all phases of the CCNA Networking Academy curriculum, CCC has proven success in managing local academies as well as teaching students by using the tools and techniques provided by the Cisco Networking Academy. In 2001, CCC was recognized by Cisco Networking Academy as a Cisco Regional Networking Academy. This designation allowed CCC to expand the local academy program by providing training and guidance to existing local academies, technical career centers, and CCC campuses for training students how to develop key business links for program support, enrichment, and growth to meet the industry demands.
Back to top CURRICULUM OVERVIEW The four-semester Cisco Networking Academy trains students on the principles and practices of how to successfully design, build, and maintain a network capable of supporting national and global organizations. In a lab setting that closely resembles a real work environment students learn how to bring to life local and Wide Area Networks (WANs). The curriculum provides students with the tools necessary to successfully pass the Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA) exam. exam. Having CCNA certification can open the door to endless opportunities in the technology industry.
